Ryan, a proud Butler University alum with a PharmD and MBA, has had an incredible journey from pharmacy to pickleball. After more than 15 years in leadership roles within global organizations, he found his true calling on a pickleball court in a small Indiana town. That moment changed everything.

His love for sports has always been there. Back in college, Ryan played racquetball, volleyball, and wallyball, but it wasn’t until he picked up a pickleball paddle that he knew he’d found his passion. Now, as co-owner of the Indianapolis Pickleball Club and a certified pro through PPR at the Indianapolis Racquet Club, Ryan is dedicated to coaching players of all levels. His approach focuses on solid fundamentals, smart strategies, and—above all—having fun.

Off the court, Ryan treasures the time he spends with his family. Whether he's savoring homemade tacos or exploring Indiana’s state parks, he’s always up for a new adventure. Along with his wife and daughter, Ryan’s cat, Pumpkin, is his faithful companion, making his time at home just as fulfilling as his time on the court.

Jennie Atkinson brings a spark of warmth and energy wherever she goes. As one of Indiana’s top pickleball players, she’s got the competitive fire that burns brightest during tournaments, but she’s more than just a fierce player. Jennie is a coach who connects with her students, making sure that everyone feels the joy and excitement that pickleball brings.

When she’s not on the court, Jennie is happiest outdoors, hiking every trail she can find with her family and friends. Even though she insists she’s a dog person, her two cats follow her around like loyal companions, always keeping her company. Whether she’s hitting smashes or soaking in nature’s beauty, Jennie’s life revolves around fun, family, and a deep love for adventure.
